Steve Wyant (Ralph S. Wyant), age 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on June 8 at Methodist Hospital. Steve was born on June 11, 1949 to Ralph and Millie Wyant in Indianapolis. After graduating from Northwest High School, he went on to earn a computer science degree at Ivy Tech State College and worked for many years as a computer programmer at various companies in the Indianapolis area. He later worked for and retired from Carrier Corporation after 17 years of service. Steve’s hobbies included photography and trainwatching, and he was an avid fan of Formula 1 racing. He was known for his cheerful disposition and entertaining sense of humor with a quick wit. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Wyant, and is survived by his mother, Millie Wyant, brothers Dave Wyant (Cindy), Greg Wyant, niece Sara Wyant (Brandon) and great-nieces Rhea Dean and Theia Dean. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 3pm-5pm with the service at 5pm.
