Obituary of Armella Cecilia Hale

Armella Cecilia Hale, 89, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. She was born in Jasper, IN to Thomas and Emma Giesler on November 22, 1932. Armella was a hairstylist and owned her own salon. She was a member of St. Cristopher Catholic church, she enjoyed volunteering for the church. She was also a member of several Bridge Clubs, Euchre Clubs and Homemakers Club. She loved to play games, especially Yahtzee. Armella enjoyed gardening, traveling and golfing. She loved and cherished spending time with her family. Armella was preceded in death by her husband, Monta Hale Sr.; daughter, Mary Turner; grandson, Joey Agan; and her 14 siblings, Hilda Lemond Kays, Catherine Kluemper Lubbers, Margaret Schmitt, Bernadine Mehringer, Caroline St. Clair, Roberta Sternberg, Frieda Gehlhausen, Rosalina Fromme, Dorothy May Giesler, Joan Giesler, Martin Giesler, Victor Giesler, Louis Giesler and ElmerThomas Giesler. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Hale (Beth) and Monta Hale II; daughters, Ann Nicholas and Monica Hale – Fought (Tim Fought); her son-in-law, James Turner; eleven grandchildren, Joseph Agan, Jennifer Agan, Leisa Nicholas, Randy Davis, Jeff Davis, Grace Fought, Sam Fought, Joe Fought, Kaitlyn Hale, Sarah Hale, and Jacob Hale; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
