My favorite memories of Iva… Growing up in the 80’s throughout Jr High & high school, Samantha and I were inseparable. Mom (Iva) accepted me with open arms every time I walked in. Samantha used to tell me mom liked me more, and trusted me. So, Samantha always made me ask if we could go outside or go do something. I usually got the yes. Mom once told me I was me good for Samantha because I was a good girl and stayed out of trouble..ahh little did she know. Ahhh the good ol’ days.
Iva, I know you are at rest now. You will forever be loved and missed. This is not goodbye, it’s “Till we meet again”
My favorite memory of her is when i would go in to say goodnight to her, she would always give me a york peppermint patty. It was our little "secret" although i think everyone knew and didn't say anything. One memory i will never forget though is the day i said goodbye. I didn't know it was our last but i told her i loved her, and she said she loved me more. I will never forget that moment for as long as i live. I hope she is happy and at peace where she is.
I'll never forget dancing in the living room to Neil McCoy and Garth Brooks and others. I love you grandma and I'll see you again and we'll dance again together.
