Obituary of Mary Pfister
Mary Margaret Mulligan Pfister Went home to the Lord on February 5 , 2011. Born in Middletown, Ohio, a graduate of Mount St. Joseph's College. She was a dietician and later a well loved substitute teacher at Ben Davis High School for over twenty years. A devout Catholic, she served as a lector at St. Joseph's Church until illness forced her to stop. Her two great passions were baking and playing bridge. A loving and generous heart, she leaves behind her husband of 50+ years, Bill and son Steve. She is survived by brother Larry and (Cathie) Mulligan; sisters Rose and (Tony) Poleway, Theresa and (John) Wagner, and Sister Sarah Mulligan S.C.; sisters-in-law, Angela and (Ken) Pohl, Rita Hart, Mary Elizabeth and (Peter) Byrne, Anne Cronin; brother-in-law, Bob and (Esther) Pfister and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to Noon in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1375 S. Mickley Avenue in Indianapolis, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christian Appalachian Project, Route 5 Box 1083, Louisa, Kentucky 41230, or Mission Partners Guatemala, 3 FDR Walk, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
