Elizabeth Ann (Winkley) Bettis, 66 of Avon passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Methodist Hospital. Liz was born on October 20, 1955 to Lyman and Lula (Stewart) Winkley. She went to Avon High School. Liz is survived by her husband, Steve Bettis and two sons, Denny Bettis (Betina) and Stephen Bettis (Tamara); grandchildren, Damian Bettis (Cara), Cheyanne Bettis, Dylan Bettis, Eli Bettis and Isaiah Bettis; and great grandchild, Declan Bettis. In addition, she is survived by her brothers and sisters, Jay Winkley, Sharon (Winkley) Fitzgerald (Steve), Sandy (Winkley) Earlywine, Bill Winkley (Paula), Steve Winkley. Sue (Winkley) Ross, Kim Winkley Tyger, and Shelly Winkley. Liz was preceded in death by her parents Lyman and Lula (Stewart) Winkley; brothers, Tony Winkley and Dennis Winkley. Besides her family, she loved the beach, camping, mermaids, roosters and social gatherings with family. Liz also loved to read and travel to new places.
