Avenell Irene Deakin was born in Indianapolis on September 2, 1955 and passed away on October 24, 2021. Her parents Howard and Jean Kesler preceded her in death. Avenell graduated from Washington High School in 1973 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and cheerleader. She excelled at administrative work and retired from Miller Pipeline in 2020. Avenell is survived by her son Ryan (Amber); brother Lafe Walters (Dona); sister Carlotta Griner (Bob); nieces and nephews Trent (Jen), Tiffany (Scott), Robert (Kathy) and Heather (Bobby).
