Obituary of Joe Warner
Joe Elliott Warner, 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on September 4, 2021. Joe was born in Indianapolis to Joseph Cosby and Georgia Margaret Warner. Joe was a family man, he was dedicated to his family and spent quality time with them. Joe could not spend enough time with his grandkids. Family was the most important thing to Joe, second was his friends. He never met a stranger! Joe was an auto mechanic his whole life. However, Joe was most proud of the service to our country. Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. HE enjoyed fishing, family time, movies, playing pool, people watching and restoring his beloved 66’ Chevy truck. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Warner and sister Margaret Gardner. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Lee (Bricket) Warner; sons Joe Elliott Warner II, Jason Cosby (Charity) Warner and John Paul Warner; daughter Laura Lee (Larry Bridwell) Warner; six grandchildren Levi, Liam, Lincoln, Lyle, Olivia and Addison; sisters Carol Warner, Joanne Crabtree and Jean Beach; and one brother Tom (Melba) Warner.
