Obituary of Judy Eileen Wildman
Judith (Judy) Eileen Wildman (Ward) born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England on April 2, 1945 and passed away 28 June 2021 in Indianapolis, IN after illness that recently became severe. Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Eileen Wyard.
A GI bride of husband Larry K. Wildman for 55 years, and Mother of Sean Wildman. Two Grandchildren, Christopher and Amy and Great Grandmother of Nolan. A brother, Desmond Wyard lives in London. Judy loved Soccer and watching husband in walking events.
Judy always loved forming friendships with other families on our Navy base and Civilian communities where we lived. Judy endured many broken bones and fractures due to osteoporosis, only recently helped by a new medication. Many photos of her show her in one kind of cast or inflatable boot. She tolerated many pills, not always without protest, diabetic injections, and other ailments, always seemingly to rally through and persevering. This last medical encounter was too overwhelming.
She loved the holidays with family and Larry’s singing in the choir for the services.
She loved being British and Loved the Royal Family and British cooking. Trips to Jungle Jim’s store in Cincinnati for ingredients and her favorite British Tea.
Till we meet again, beyond suffering and grief, where Love prevails.
Side note: Judy and I gave donations to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital from time to time, and instead of flowers, tributes in the form of contribution to St. Jude's would be desired.
