My deceased husband Bob and myself knew Ronnie for 30 wonderful memorable years. He gave us so many laughs, either while camping ,golfing (only person I know that could drive a golf ball into a tree and hit an unexpected squirrel.) So many good times at his favorite watering hole, 21 Club. Yeah Father Ronnie, you will be missed , but one day we'll all be together and we'll pick up where we left off. Will love YOU forever.
My husband and I have known Ronnie for a good 30 years. He was a wonderful friend and brother to us and we always enjoyed his playfully funny personality. I remember an occasion on one of our group camping trips that my husband and I shared a trailer with him. He accidentally set off the smoke alarm and it was quite comical watching him and my husband, face to face, blowing on "that darn thing" to make it stop all that "racket". You just had to be there! :)
Ronnie also had many titles over the years, from Father Ronnie, which carried another funny story, to many others that were probably only funny to those of us who knew him so well.
He loved fishing, golfing and partaking of a beverage or two with friends and enjoyed his DOTS candies as well. He will be greatly missed, but know he will be thought of often!
Love,
Gregg & Jackie Uttecht
I have known Ron now for 30 years. I met him when I was 19 which is hard to believe it has been that long. When I met him he was best friends with my Dad Lain, Rick and Gail McGehee, Greg and Jackie Uttech, Bob and Jackie Bloomfield, Mike Turner, Ray Reece and many others. He treated my wife and future kids like family and I always thought of him as family and not just a friend. He bought my son TJ a pair of red converse when he was a newborn. Those who knew Ronnie knew he had about every color converse known to man.
I can’t believe you are gone buddy!
Some of the funniest sayings we say here in Yuba City now came from Ronnie. I can’t say most of them here but trust me they are funny. From your Milwaukee’s Best beer on the golf course to your funny commentary I don’t think I will ever forget you. I will never forget golfing with you and you would be on shot 6 or 7 and you would look me in the eye and say, “This is gonna be tough to birdie this hole” with a straight face. The other one I still say is when you would hit a horrible slice or dribble one out front of you, you would say “That’s not exactly what I had in mind” again with a straight face.
I remember when you got sick and couldn’t play golf with us anymore it broke your heart. I also remember when you told us you were moving back to Indy with your daughters and family how you lit up.
Just know that every time I golf I feel you there with me. I will never forget you friend and love you more than you ever knew.
Love Troy Moss

I LOVE YOU DAD ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My favorite memories of my grandpa Ronnie is always making me laugh all the time. Also he would crack me about the littlest things ever. We would always talk about school and he would always tell me to have fun. He was definitely the funniest and amazing grandpa and we have so many memories. I really enjoyed living with my grandpa Ronnie it was so fun when me in him would hang out all the time. I definitely miss grandpa and will always remember the memories together and always be in my heart. I am just happy that you are not suffering anymore and or in pain. Love you always grandpa- From Karinne.❤️
I'll miss ya Uncle Ronnie. All the jokes and kidding around, mostly just having u and my daddy and all my uncle's together just cutting up laughing and reminiscing! Those were always the best times and memories I had. I knw that when u got home the celebration begin, honestly probably hasn't stopped lol. I can only imagine the love u felt from grandma and grandpa not to mention my daddy when they seen u. Or all the family members that we've lost along the way to now. O'le chicken legs ( Harry) used to tell stories from when y'all was younger and I'd just laugh. All my Uncle's seemed like they were something else, but one things for sure, u all were always family oriented that you could count on. I love you Uncle Ronnie and I'll def miss ya. But in the end of this all, I knw your healthy again and feeling great with awhole lotta love up there to see u threw till we're all reunited again!! R.I.P
