Julia Layden Baker, age 100, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis to Ella and George Layden on August 1, 1920. Julia worked at RCA. After marrying, she cared for her family and aging parents. She enjoyed gardening, boating and camping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Baker and her parents. Julia is survived by her children, Mark (Robert Wilson) Baker and Patricia (Jeffrey) Sloan; and her grandchild, Samuel Sloan. Julia’s strong spirit, sense of humor, and smile will be missed.
