Obituary of Robin Kryder
Robin G. Kryder, age 65, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Febuary 8th 2021 at the University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Robin was born on July 19, 1955 to the late Frank & Helen (Kroger) Chapman.
Robin was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School (Ohio) in 1973 and Terra Technical College in 1976, earning an Associates Degree in accounting, she used her Accounting Degree to obtain a job at Ben Davis 9th Grade Center, in Indianapolis, as the Treasurer, she retired on July 31, 2020.
She married the love of her life, Geoffrey L. Kryder on June 18, 1976. Shortly after they were married, they moved to Findlay, and made some lifelong friends. In 1985 they moved to Ridgecrest, CA, where their children Danielle and Steven were born. In 1990, they settled in Indianapolis, IN.
Robin had many hobbies that included, making fairy gardens with her granddaughter, going to garage sales with her grandson, and gardening.
She loved traveling all over the United States, Mexico, and the Bahamas, she was also a talented seamstress, that she turned into a successful small business.
One thing that she looked forward to every year was her girls trip with her friends and business partner, and as well as her brother and sister in law, Greg and Lori to Shipshewana, IN.
Robin was a rock for the emotional, the light in the dark and a safe place to land when the world was too harsh. She was an escape to those who needed help in times of trouble, by using her faith in God and asking for his guidance.
Robin was a timeless beauty in her soul and mind. She loved fearlessly and selflessly, and loved her family with all of her being, and was so proud of her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Geoffrey, Daughter - Danielle (Douglas) Cox, Son – Steven Kryder and grandchildren – Braydon and Elysse Cox.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Frank and Helen Chapman, Brothers – Michael and Ronnie, and Sisters – Pat LunsFord and Jackie Chapman.
Visitation will be at 10:00 to 11:00
Mass will begin at 11:00
