Obituary of Brigitta Ann Fink

Brigitta Ann Fink passed away Monday January 18, 2021. She was 73. Gitta was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on August 11, 1947 to parents Martha Martin Fink and Frances Fink. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and went on to attend Texas Christian University. In 1967 Gitta joined General Electric, where she spent the next 28 years as a customer service manager in their operations centers in Indianapolis, Florida and Kansas. Gitta developed many lifelong friendships, a love for the beach, travel and the Kansas City Chiefs during these years. Gitta moved back to Indianapolis in 2000 to be closer to her family and immersed herself in her new community, making new friends, embarking on a new career with Stoops Freightliner and began what would become a life filled with service and volunteerism She was a devout Catholic and was very active at St Christopher Catholic Church. She delighted in her great nieces and nephews and rarely missed an event where they were playing or performing. She was a dedicated cheerleader on the sidelines as she attended countless soccer, basketball and baseball games, recitals, musicals and life events. She will be remembered as a caring, feisty, independent sister, aunt and friend with a huge heart. She lived a full and rewarding life, with a steadfast faith and love for the Lord. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Glennon and brother in law Jim Glennon, nieces Ann Marie Scharlau (Greg) and Kathy Rokita (Todd) and great nieces and nephews, James, Sarah and Emily Scharlau and Teddy and Ryan Rokita. A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11:00am at St Christopher Catholic Church in Speedway Indiana, with a visitation preceding service from 10am-11am.
