Gilliam, 72, of Indianapolis passed away on December 21, 2020. She was born in Quincy, MA on November 16, 1948. Alicia Gilliam has been in the service industry for years. First as a server at Bob Evans on 38th St, then as a teller for Huntington Natl. Bank on Rockville Rd. She was adored by her customers there. They would wait patiently in line to see her smiling face and warm, personal greeting. She so enjoyed talking about the casino and would go when she could. She was of modest means, but was finally able to afford her dream car, a Jaguar, which she treasured. She was first and foremost a MOM, and that is how she will be honored and remembered. Alicia was loved by most and will be missed by all. Alicia is preceded in death by her father Frederick Hennebury; sisters Jeannie Bosworth and Barbara Hennebury; and grandmother “Nana Moore” Alice Moore. She is survived by her former husband Corneilus P. Gearin; daughters Annette (Clay) Gregory and Leah (Chris Taylor) Sebanc; son Mark (Ashley) Gilliam; grandchildren Austin Gearin, Shyanne Woodard, Kaylee (Willy) Walters, Kaci Sebanc, Luke Sebanc, Dominic Gilliam, and Kendrick Gilliam; great grandchildren Abigail Foley, Abriana Foley, Lilyahna Gildon, Jaiden Walters, Brennin Walters, Kitina Walters, Zaide Walters and Evelyn Walters; nieces Tracy Downey and Laurie Wilson; nephew Rick Bosworth and great niece Alley Downey.
