Obituary of Ronald Paul Haase

Ronald Paul Haase, 79, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis to Edith and Charles Haase on April 9, 1941. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Ronald served proudly and bravely in the US Navy for six years, 1959 - 1965 during the Korean Conflict. Ronald held several careers, he worked for McClean Trucking as a loader, a process server for the City of Indianapolis, and was a private investigator which he absolutely loved. Ronald also loved to fish, play golf, bowl (both real and machine bowling), drawing, building models and playing cards. He sang in his high school men’s ensemble and church choir; and liked singing Karaoke. Ronald enjoyed hanging out with his best friends, playing Bingo at Billy’s. Ronald loved his family immensely, especially his Grandchildren with all his heart and always wanted to spend quality time with them.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; his loving and devoted wife of 52 ¾ years, Alma Jean (Detamore) Haase; brothers, Richard Haase and Donald Haase; and nephew, David Haase.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Rod) Greene; son, Scott Haase; granddaughter Alexandra Haase and her mother Marian Haase; grandson, Isaiah Greene; sisters-in law, Doris Haase, Jocelyn McCoy, June Haase and Linda Chapple; niece Alice (Bill) Cornett; nephews, Dick Haase Jr., Bruce (Lori) Haase, and Brian (Tracey) Haase; special daughter, Holly (Jeff) Joyce; dear friends, George Irrgang, Elaine Elliot and Jane (Joe); and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, neighbors and many friends. Ron was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
The family kindly asks that you wear your favorite Hat in Celebration of Ron’s life, as this was his thing, He always had one on!
