Obituary of James Paino
James Edward Paino, Sr Peacefully went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 10th, 2011. He was the son of Lyda Mae (Townsend) and Thomas Paino, Sr. born August 18th, 1930 in Danville, Illinois. He married and is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ellen Louise (Ezell) Paino. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul E. Paino and Roscoe Lee Paino and a sister, Rozella Paino Quinn. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas Paino, Jr. ? Carmel, IN and David L. Paino ? Feasterville, PA and two sisters, Betty Johnson ? Springfield, IL; Edwina Duncan ? Lodi, CA. Jim worked for Stark & WetzelRath Packing Company for 35 years. He also served the community as a bus driver in Wayne Township and retired after 13 years. He was a member of Lakeview Temple for nearly 70 years and served in many capacities including the church board and as a leader of the Sunday School bus ministry. Most recently he was an active member at Clayton Christian Church, Clayton, IN. He is the father of and survived by: James E. Paino, Jr. (Kathy)- Indianapolis, IN; C. Joseph Smith (Belinda) ? Westfield, IN; Trina Rawlinson (Michael) ? Danville, IN; Amy Owen (Jason) ? Danville, IN. He was the proud grandfather of eight ? Melissa Dugle (John), James E. Paino III, Trenton Smith (Lexi), Trevor Smith, Hannah Rawlinson, and Alyson Owen and great-grandfather to three ? James E. Paino IV, Megan Dugle, and Annalise Dugle. Visitation will be on June 15, 2011 from 4pm-8pm at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 West 10th Street with the service on June 16, 2011 at 11:30am at the mortuary. www.stevensmortuary.net
