Sherrell Anne McWilliams Niemeyer, 82, of Avon, IN passed away on July 4, 2020. Sherrell was born Indianapolis on December 19, 1937 to Floyd and Gwendolan (Tansel) McWilliams. Sherrell was an accomplished seamstress. She entered in State fair contests and won awards for her counted cross stitching. She also volunteered for many years and did sewing for scouting groups. She volunteered her time as a Poll worker and enjoyed camping and hiking with her family. Heaven holds a special place for the mother of five boys. Sherrell is predeceased by her parents; and son, Gregory Niemeyer. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Richard Niemeyer; sons Christopher Niemeyer, Jeffrey Niemeyer, Steven (Bethany) Niemeyer and Michael (Sue) Niemeyer; grandchildren Matthew and Katherine Niemeyer; and brother, James McWilliams.
