Obituary of Mary Louise Bajt

Our Mother was a housewife, Mother and homemaker. In the late 70’s Mom worked a couple years for the Indianapolis Paper Company. Then she worked for IPS as a custodian where she retired. Mom volunteered at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, food pantry and gave to various charities. Mom was a huge giver of her heart to all who knew her. Mom’s love is marked by her giving. Mom was a life member of the Slovenian National Home, Holy Trinity Catholic Church and KSKJ # 86. Moms favorite passion was in the kitchen. Mom was an incredible cook and baker. Her Slovenian heritage ran deep, passed on from her Mother and then to us. Potica, Hungarian Stew (Hunky), Cottage Cheese Struklji and Spanish Hamburgers are what comes to mind first. One of Mom’s greatest passions were her Roses. Our Mom’s faith was rooted in the Catholic Religion – She mentioned often “God Knows Everything.” Mom was a resident at Northwest Health Care from 2013 until her passing. She was in loving care by all the staff. Everyday staff members were greeted with a big hug, kiss and I love you. She made their day as they made hers. Our hearts are broken yet at Peace knowing Mom is in the Arms of God and her family. Rest in Peace Mom with your Angels and Butterflies. Our mother is preceded in death by her husband of 40 plus years, Louis R. Bajt, her parents Nicholas Dugar and Mary Markich; son Joseph Bajt; and one son-in-law Gene McWilliams. She is survived by her daughters Mary Lambert, Theresa Alverson and Anna McWilliams; son James Bajt; son-in-law Donald Alverson; grandsons Jeff Alverson, Darren McWilliams and Brian McWilliams; and great grandson Brian McWilliams II. Glory in the Flower That though the radiance which was so bright be now forever taken from our site. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, Glory in the flower. We will grieve not, Rather find strength in what remains behind. William Wordsworth
