Condolences
Thoughts and prayers to Mr. Dault's family. I am a former Speedway student who remembers Mr. Dault quite fondly. I still have the notes with newspaper clippings from the Speedway Press he sent my first year at Speedway when I was 8 years old and from my senior year at Speedway. His dedication to the community was incredible and will always be remembered.
My sincere sympathy to Joyce and her family in the loss of your husband and father, Ray Dault. I was working at the IMU in Bloomington when Ray came to work there in preparation for working at the Student Union in Indy. A wonderful person with a personality bigger than life. Max Fleetwood
The first words I ever heard from Ray were, "What can I do for you young fella" as I stood in his doorway at IUPUI not know what I wanted to do with my life. Ray was like a second father to me. I will miss him dearly and will always have him in my heart. I hope that Joyce and Suzy don't mind sharing him with me. There will never be another one like him!
To Joyce and Suzanne: A voice from the past. Marilyn Hudson Tribbett here. Larry and Carol's daughter. I am writing to express our families sympathy in Ray's passing. I remember you all well and remember the joy that we had when we were together. Ray worked with my Dad at the IMU in Bloomington. He was quite proud of the fact that Ray left there only to do the same thing at the union at IUPUI. YOu have to be proud. Dad died in 1998 of Alzheimer's, and Tom, our brother, died 2 years ago from cancer. Mother, at 92, is still functioning well, still living in our house and driving. She would love to contact Joyce if Joyce is able. Or, Mother's address is 509 Cabot Court, Bloomington, In Her phone number is 812-336-3282. If calling, call during the day as she goes to sleep early. I know you hate to lose your husband and Dad. But, he would be happy to know that I still remember his laugh and his sparkle. He was always so nice to me and I still remember that at 64! And, that is just one person. Think of the lives he touched. Just wanted to let you know we are thinking of you both and how much we loved you all. Marilyn Hudson Tribbett 2341 Ulen Overlook Lebanon, In 46052
