I had not seen my Uncle Mike since 2008 when I lost my father. During the service at the chapel he told me that he would be taking my father's place and standing in for him and anything I needed he would be there for me. That meant more to me than he could have ever known. Such a great man with remarkable character and a servants heart. May God give all my cousins peace and comfort during this trying time for the loss of a father is like no other. May God be with all my family as they go through this.
R.I.P. Uncle Mike
Uncle Michael I'm going to miss you so much. I wish I would have got to see you one last time to tell you how much you mean to me and just how much i missed you. I love you and know that your in a much better place now. I'm going to miss you telling me stories about when you were on the police force. Buddha’s insight revealed neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds.
So goes this farewell salute to Mike for his contributions through his efforts to our communities while representing local law enforcement over his tenure of service.
Mike is now among others of our deceased fellows whose “good deeds” will surely be remembered, as now will his from 1966 to 2005.
We pray for Mike: Eternal Rest!
