As a fellow classmate of AWHS 1967, I didn’t know Jim well, but he was always very kind to me. I loved watching the video and seeing his adult life and family unfold. It looked like he had a wonderful life. Thank you for sharing. And sorry for his passing two years ago.
As a fellow member in Jim's Class of '67, I too fondly remember the Jolly Green Giant. I thoroughly enjoyed the video with the photos that commemorated the important events in Jim's life and captured the candid ones as well. I don't think Jim ever stood taller than when he was surrounded by those he loved and loved him right back. The genuineness of those photos are a lasting family tribute for current generations and those to come. Barry Baiorunos
So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I was a classmate of his at Archbishop Williams High School. Jim was a well loved and well respected member of our class. Thank you for sharing his story of continued love and faith. May his memory warm your hearts.
Just heard about Jim's passing. I graduated with Jim in1967 from Archbishop Williams and saw him at our reunion. My deepest sympathy to Nancie, his children and their families. Such a loss, too early. I will be letting his classmates and the school know. Prayers for all of you. Helen Flanders
We are so sorry to hear of Kevin’s father’s death. From the obituary he sounds like a wonderful man. We would have liked to know him personally. He surely must be residing with the Lord. Your family has all our condolences. Sincerely, Genny and Tom Sedler
Rest in peace Jim..."and may flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest"
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We enjoyed catching up with him while awaiting the election results in November. We are currently out of the state, but rest assured we are praying for you.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Prayers to the family during this difficult time.
I had the pleasure of serving on several school committees with Jim; he was very passionate about children getting the very best possible school experience.
We appreciated when he coached our Mary in basketball in grade school. Even though she had no talent for the game, he still made her feel valuable to the team.
Jim left a legacy of dedicated community service which Wayne Township is thankful.
Jim will be missed.
Elaine Jenkins and family
Dear Jimmy...I am glad to know you are safe and at peace with Aunt June and Uncle Joe. With Love and deep sympathy for all of your family and friends, Denise (your cousin)
I first became to know Jim when he made a Cursillo weekend in 2013. Jim became a regular attendee in our Group Reunions. Jim always looked for ways he could become closer to our Lord. He never gave up on his quest to know Christ better Jim will be remembered by the members of that Group Reunion as a model to follow in our own journey to our Lord. DeColores, Jim
Loving prayers for you, number one nephew, Jimmy. Home with your Mom and Dad. Our deepest sympathy to all who loved him.
Love, Aunt Diane and Bob
Jim and I first became friends about ten years ago as we shared our information about our encounters with Melanoma. I had just been thru a year of treatments while Jim was just beginning. We talked by phone almost every week encouraging each other for an eventual good outcome. Although Jim did have a few setbacks, It seem that, for ten years we did have good outcomes. Jim and I were both in Knights of Columbus, but kind of different times. Jim and I both attended Cursillo weekends, again, different weekends, and subsequently met for 4th Day Group gathering for more than five of the past years, but it seemed that much of our lives were on similar paths. Jim became very devoted to Catholic principles and Christian studies in the last few years. He was always sharing reading materials and insights with the group as we prayed for intentions brought up in group meetings. We will miss Jim and the sincere purpose he brought to us in the group. I wish to express my sincere condolences for Jim's wife and family as they cope with the loss of the wonderful man I grew to know. God be with you.
