I lost my mom Sarah Huggler, in July of last year(2022). And I have come to find myself with a huge pile of letters from Shirley to her life long friend. Just wanted to let you know I didn't know she had passed or if my mom had told me it didn't register. Hope your family is doing well. With all my condolences, Tabatha Gibson (daughter of Sarah Huggler.)
I'm gonna miss U Sis !! Even though we seldom talked Or seen each other much lately ( MY FAULT ) I always knew U were there to text late at night OR ask questions about family history etc.I hope U always knew I thought of U as my full blooded big Sis-the thought of the word half-Sis OR whatever just NEVER entered my mind !!! When Mo died AND before,I referred to Him as a hell of a working man-and guess what- thats exactly how I thought of U-ONE HELL OF A WORKING WOMAN !!! MANY times when I sat at my NON_MANUAL LABOR -SIT DOWN -job in my CLEAN AIR _ CONDITIONED Factory Factory and complained to my Wife Or Bro Mike or Bro Dennis about being tired-we would OFTEN comment to each other--WELL IT COULD BE WORSE, WE COULD BE DOING THE MANUAL LABOR WORK THAT SHIRLEY AND MORRIS DO !!! U and Mo were HARDLY ever referred to as just Shirley OR just Morris !! It was ALWAYS referred to as SHIRLEY AND MORRIS !!! I will ALWAYS say - Look in the dictionary under (HARD WORK ) and U and Mo's Picture would be there !! SO RIP Both of U FINALLY !! Tell EVERYONE HI !!! LOVE Little Bro
I will miss Shirley. Both her and Morris were salt of the earth people you could trust. I always will appreciate their kind words and smiles.
I was so honored to have the chance to work with Shirley for the last five years of her life . She always had a smile for me everyday I saw her . She will be greatly missed !
Shirley Jackson, what a lady, great wife great mom, she was my sister in law, but i always considered her as my sister, Shirley and Morris and David has always been there for us, i love them with all my heart and will miss Morris and Shirley, until my turn, we have a lot of angels looking over us, i will miss you and Morris dearly, we had a lot of good times, until we meet again, i love you guy's with all my heart!!
Still hard to believe that I will not get to sit on our front porch this summer with you. I will treasure all of my memories of you Shirley, you meant the world to myself, Jim, and our kids...you were there for all of us, all our fun times and all of our sad times...you were the matriarch of our family after Mother passed...I'm having a very rough time with this, but I distinctly remember just not to very long ago, Friday April 5th to be exact, that we are not to be sad or you WILL come back to haunt us LOL...but, my heart is definitely broken, and I cry at just the mention of your name...I will forever love and miss you, my sweet, sweet, sister.
Shirley was a good friend. One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE people where i work. I hope that when i get to be her age I'm just as fiery as she was. Her sense of humor is what i miss most. Rest in peace, dearest Shirley. Hope i will see you again some day.
