Obituary of Russell Wayne Wilson

Russell Wayne Wilson, 81, of Indianapolis passed away at 2:35 PM at his home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born December 14, 1937 in Bedford, IN to Earl and Dovie Luticia (Wilson) Blessinger, both preceded him in death. Russell was also preceded in death by sons, Patrick Wilson and Kenneth Wilson; daughter, Linda Wilson; brother Patrick Wilson; and sisters Geraldine Pettit and Mary Baugh.

Russell was always a wonderful husband, dad, and grandpa. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family. His favorite sayings were “Got any quarters”, “Deal ‘em” and “I’m hooked’.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lantry) Wilson; children, Terry (Glynn) King, Brenda Little, Mary (Mark) Davison; son, Mike (Starla Bomar) Wilson; sister, Sally Curran; brother, Donald Wilson; 10 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who are left to cherish his memory.
