Obituary of Rickey Lee Hansen

Rick Hansen, 50, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on July 5, 2018. Rick was born in Indianapolis on August 18, 1967 to David and Linda Hansen. Rick Hansen took part in numerous adventures throughout his life. He started out “DJing” for many clubs and events around Indianapolis, which led to a spot on 96.3 radio station. Rick was also a member of the HI WINDERS Car Club. Rick loved low riders and hot rods. His love for the trucks and cars led him to opening a custom truck shop in Speedway, IN named Conversions Unlimited. Rick didn’t top there, next he opened Steel Rod Tattoo Studio. As he ventured into the Body Art community he hosted numerous award shows and functions. Tattoo City Underground Convention and Slamology Tattoo Contest are just a few to mention. While owning his studio he managed to buy a jeep and then started into a new adventure. Rick was one of the first members of Hoosier Wheelers and previous member of Jeep Junkies. Rick was an encouragement to his family and friends, he also pushed one of his friends to opening "Just Lift It". Rick touched the hearts of many and will always be remembered. Rick is preceded in death by his father, David Hansen. He is survived by his mother, Linda Hansen; daughter, Madison Hansen; grandchildren, Aubrey Hansen and Adrian Hansen; Uncles, Clayton Long and James Long; Aunt, Alma Cook and several cousins.
