Obituary of Owen Brooks Langford

Owen “Bud” Langford passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018.  He was born July 3, 1933, to Vernon Langford and Leona Syphers in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Bud was an Army Veteran and served during the Korean War earning a Purple Heart.  He was a member of the 500 American Legion and the Hi Winders Car Club.  Bud was a car enthusiast, as well as a Nascar and Colts fan. He was a bowler, roller skater, and he liked to dance at the Legion and Moose Lodge.  Bud was loving, caring, sensitive, humorous and an all-around family man.  He also loved his animals Sasha, Crystal, and Lizzy.  Bud is survived by his life companion of 10 years, Lee Haaff; children, Steve Langford, Kandi Newland, and Michael Langford; 5 brothers and sisters; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
