Condolences
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you all to see him again because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral when family members and friends are gone, we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Edward your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
June and Joe,
You have my deepest sympathy. Ed was a friend. I enjoyed our time together, we laughed
often and worked hard. From our trips to Little Italy in Cleveland or watching a Penguin game in Pittsburgh the time went by to fast. He loved his family and talked about you all. He taught me so much in such a short time, I will miss him and wish all of you the best.
I love you guys and are praying for you and know Ed is singing, laughing and joke telling right now!! I will see you all soon!
I only knew Ed for eleven years, but the impact he had on my life cannot be overstated. He was a great friend, amazing boss and a born mentor.
Ed was thoughtful and thought provoking, ethical and patriotic, hilarious and influential to all those that spent time with him. His work ethic was incredible! His story telling legendary! A leader that commanded respect and made those around him better people, in work and mostly, in life. The world was a better place with him in it. Ed will be missed but never forgotten to those that had the good fortune to know him.
