Being the first and only girl in the IFD, A-Shift, "boys club", I was often met with resistance and indignity, sometimes being completely ignored by an entire crew for a month at a time. But that was certainly not the case with COZ! What a gentleman! When I reported for duty at the 30's in 1981 Bill was genuinely friendly, kind and considerate.........the nicest guy I had ever met on the job. He made every effort to make me feel at home and saw to it that I was included in whatever was going on around him. Although his cooking was legendary, his smile was genuine and his good nature was constant, I will mostly remember his kind and considerate heart..........a really wonderful human being and a "gold star" recipient in my IFD memory book!

Bill, was one of the kindest men i ever met. He was warm and sincere, always interested in everyone around him. No man could ask for a better legacy than the extraordinary family he headed. Every one of them gave him great pride. There really are no words.
