Eleanor (Doyle) Groff, of Indianapolis, passed away January 2, 2010. Eleanor retired from Sears at Lafayette Square and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Doyle; brothers, Harold and Joseph Knarzer and sister, Dolores Rolles. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Groff; daughters, Sharon (Bernie) Kunard, Nancy (Bud) Striebeck and Janis (Jack) Cook; sisters, Pauline Nester and Louise Goddard; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, TODAY, January 6, 2010 from 4-7:30 pm with a 7:30 pm rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 7 at 11:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3354 W 30th St, Indpls. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
