Helen, Jane & George, Ben was a wonderful person, he always knew when us kids were up to mischief. I remember the time you had let Janie spend the night at my home and poor Ben didn't sleep a wink. I'm so glad I got to know him in his lifetime. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Love you all ❤️
I am the son of James R. Fields Sr your half brother born to William McKinnely Fields and Eva Bronk, Fields, Davis. Due to my enlistment in the U.S. Air Force at age 17 I did not get to know you well. We did get to visit with each other after my military retirement. I enjoyed our conversation about the history of our family. Thank you for the history papers on our family. I wish we could have spent more time together as a family. Rest in peace Uncle Ben you will be missed. Thank you for your military service "SALUTE". Prayers for Anut Helen and family.
I'm very sorry for your loss of Ben. May the love you shared bring you comfort and the memories make you smile.
With Deep Sympathy,
Suzie Lawson
My condolences to the family The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you all to see him again, because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral when family members and friends are gone, we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Ben your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
If Someone Would Ever Tell Me That I'm Half The Man That He Was, I'd Consider It A Compliment. Sending Prayers For Strength To Jane, Helen, And George. Rest In Heaven Dad And Give Jason A Big Hug For Me. I'm Sure He Was Waiting To See His Papaw.
