I was so saddened to learn of Mrs. Thoma's passing. What a spunky lady she was! She met my son, Mark, when he was able to help her resolve some replacement window issues. They really hit it off. She let us park in front of her house for several years that we attended the Brickyard 400. We met her later in her life, but it was more than obvious she was full of life & energy! She would save us a place in front of her home each year, coming out to greet us, letting us use her restroom :), and just treating our family with the most kindness you could imagine. I visited her once during the non race season and we spent an afternoon of non-stop talk and I so loved hearing about her life. What an active, wonderful life she had. My family loved her. When she moved, sadly I lost contact with her. But I never stopped thinking of her. I will never forget her, and I will always think of her in the warmest of regards. Linda Lyon
