Obituary of Ronald D. Wess
Ronald Denzell Wess was born January 27, 1993 to the parents of Ronald and Gayle Wess. He professed his love for Christ at an early age and attended Lakeview Christian Church. Ronald graduated from Ben Davis High School in the year 2011, and later went on to attend Vincennes University. At VU, Ronald was an active member in BMI (Black Male Initiative) where he was granted the Outstanding Leadership award and also found his love for the open mic and gave everyone a peek of the depth and soul he expressed in his poetry. Ron’s leadership and desire to help others motivated him to obtain his CNA license in the year 2014.
Ronald will always be remembered for his kindness and willingness to give to others. His forgiving soul and unmatched heart allowed him to see no evil, but only the good in everyone. He loved unconditionally, with hugs that took your breath away and a smile that could light up a room. As we celebrate his life today, remember those times.
Ronald is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Comer and his paternal grandfather, Ronald Wess. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Vanessa Alvarez, Sierra Wess and Alexis Jones; maternal grandfather, Arthur L. Comer and paternal grandmother Re Doris Wess.
