Obituary of Anthony 'Gregg' Tatman
Anthony ‘Gregg’ Tatman, 96, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2017. Gregg was born on August 18, 1920 in Waynoka, Ok to Eugene and Kathryn Tatman. Gregg proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving in WWII in New Guinea from 1942 until 1946. Gregg went on to receive his Masters of Science in Education. He was a teacher in Indianapolis Public Schools, School #9, he also worked at A & P Grocery Store and Grande’s Greenhouse. Gregg loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved traveling, education and Big Band music and most of all he was a man who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and loved his church, St. Joseph’s. He was a man of commitment, integrity and faithfulness. He will be sorely missed by many.
Anthony ‘Gregg’ Tatman is preceded in death by his parents, his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Katherine Tatman in 2016. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Louise Tatman and Becky Jean (Steve) Kebe; sons, Joseph Allen (Sharon) Tatman and Robert Gregg (Sylvia) Tatman; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three on the way.
