Obituary of Richard Malone
Ret. Lieut. Col. Richard A. Malone, passed away on June 6, 2017. Richard was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 18, 1939 to Wallace and Pauline Malone. Richard proudly served his country in the US Army, serving in the Korean War and two tours in the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated caregiver of his brother Doug until his passing last year. He also cared for and looked out for two of his war friends. Richard loved his cats, he loved boating and flying. He will be deeply missed by many.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his brother, Wallace E. Malone Jr., sisters, Charlene Ehrlich and Glenda (James) Slater; four nieces and two nephews; caregivers, Maureen Forey, Barbara Pazoli, Thomas Parsons and Kathy Keils.
