Obituary of Peter Hahn
Peter Francis Hahn, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away March 18, 2010 at American Village. He was born November 7, 1930. After attending high school and two years at General Beadle State Teacher?s College in Madison, South Dakota, he enlisted in the Air Force. Upon completion of his tour of duty, Peter continued his education at South Dakota State College in Brookings where he received a BS degree in science and economics. Peter went on to work with the FAA as an air traffic controller at the Indianapolis Airport.
Peter was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Speedway American Legion Post 500, of which he was a past commander. He was preceded by his wife, Margaret. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 22 at St. Christopher Church, 5301 W 16th St, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be there from 10-11:00 am. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Stevens Mortuary & Family Center. www.stevensmortuary.net
