Obituary of Louise Graham
Louise Graham, of Zionsville Indiana, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2017 at the age of 96. Born on June 30, 1920 in Simpson County Kentucky to the late Charles W. Ford and Earline Dinning Ford, she was raised and educated in Franklin and Louisville, Kentucky before moving to Zionsville in 1950. She was married to Clarence P. Graham who passed December 26, 1977. Louise was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell for ten years and retired in 1983 from the office of Dr. Robert Messinger, where she had worked for 15 years. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, the UMW, Young At Heart, and sewed “Hug-a-Pillows” for the children’s ward at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and was interested in all family activities. Her hobbies were reading, tole painting, cooking and storytelling to her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bluegrass music and danced at every opportunity. Louise is survived by her two sons, Charles “Bud” (Anita) Graham of Enumclaw, WA and Jerry (Melanie) Graham of Zionsville, IN. Six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. A granddaughter and grandson preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitestown American Legion Post 410 Auxiliary to support our Veterans.
