2 Timothy 4:7-8 ~ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

To the McDonald family: May the Lord bring you comfort and peace. May the promise of eternal life bring you hope. Mr. McDonald served the Lord well, with his whole heart and soul. He finished his race well. May his soul rest in heavenly peace and his memory be eternal.

He loved his Lord, his family, his friends, his co-workers. I was blessed to share an office with him and to experience his wit and wisdom. May God be near those of you who loved him best and may he be experiencing joy, now, with the Lord he loved.

Meteors and shooting stars lit his way....

I will carry the gift of knowing Brian with me. He as colleague warm with both knowledge and wit. His students and colleagues will miss him and I will miss my friend Brian sorely.

A favorite memory: Brian used to sit in his office, pounding keyboard for his online classes. I used to tease him about needing a new keyboard every semester.
