Bobby F. Harwood 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. Bobby was born in Scottsville, Kentucky to Harry and Norma Harwood on August 26, 1932. He worked as a supervisor at Standard Brands for 37 years, before retiring at the age of 55. He has been a loving husband to Cathy and a wonderful father to his daughters and grandchildren. Bobby was an outdoorsman who loved to raise and train dogs. He enjoyed raccoon and rabbit hunting. Bobby is survived by his wife Cathy; his children, Pam (Jerry) Goldsberry and LaRessa (Doug) Scheffel; his grandchildren Nicholas (Paige) Goldsberry, Natalie (Nick) Holtgrave, Justin (Kristin) Scheffel and Heather Scheffel; and two great granddaughters; McKenzie and Adelynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley and brother, Jerry. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 19 at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Monday February 20, 2017 at Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel 645 Harding Street, Plainfield, Indiana. Mausoleum Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association in care of “Hoofin” for Harwood, 50 East 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
