Floyd Leo Speck, 57, of Speedway, Indiana, passed away February 3, 2017. He was born in Seymour, Indiana on June 19, 1959 to Floyd and Mary Speck. He was a 1977 Jennings County High School graduate. Floyd worked in sales at Lansing Building Products in Indianapolis and was a retired volunteer fireman with North Vernon Fire Department. He loved motorsports of all kinds, especially dirt track racing and the Indianapolis 500. Floyd enjoyed camping and other outdoor activities, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Christopher parish. Floyd is predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Mary and sister Helen M. Speck. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Belinda B. Speck; daughter, Caitlin Noelle Speck; sisters, Marcia (Ray) Catterton and Mary Bishop; brother-in-law, Roger Bowen; in-laws, Thomas and Sigrid Bowen; nephews, Whitey Shoultz and J.P. Bishop; nieces Lori Shoultz and Jill Bishop; and several great nieces and nephews.
