Lura (Jeanette) Rasnake 78, of Indianapolis Indiana, died Monday December 26, 2016. Born January 15, 1938 in Russell County Virginia, She was the daughter of Harmon Ray and Rosie Alice (Boyd) Rasnake. Self-employed over the years, she owned and operated a laundromat, a tavern (Jeanette’s Place), and a diner (The Oasis diner). She spent many years as a waitress for waffle house/sunshine café. She spent her final working years at Brightpoint in Plainfield, IN. Survivors include: one daughter: Alice (Finn) Kendall of Lawrenceburg, KY; Two sons: Maurice W. Finn Jr., and Willam R. Finn both of Indianapolis, IN; one sister: Gladys Votaw of Harrodsburg, KY. And 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Nancy Hill, Martha Rasnake, And Joy Delgado; one brother, Samuel Junior Rasnake; and one daughter, Teresa (Finn) Whitehouse.
