Obituary of Violet Axline
Violet Axline, 83, of Indianapolis passed away on December 9, 2016. Violet was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 19, 1933 to Minche and Stanka Shaneff. Violet retired recently from Methodist Hospital after 40 years of employment. Violet was a member of the St. Stephen Church ladies auxiliary. Violet attending Arsenal Tech H.S. and Indiana University. Violet was well known for her tireless assistance to charitable programs. Violet was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Violet is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Gordon B. Axline; daughter, Nancy (Arthur) Mernone; son, John D. Axline; grandson, Benjamin Rains; sister, Suzanne S. Seaver.
