Obituary of Pauline A Postlewaite

Pauline A. Postlewaite, 99, passed away on September 10, 2018. She was the widow of Orane Postlewaite Jr.  She was one of eleven children born to Melvin and Edith Pate. Pauline is survived by a brother, Edward L. Pate of Sherman Texas, a step-daughter Marjorie Gootee, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, stepson Orane III, granddaughter, Linda Lee Campbell, six brothers, Frank, Charles, Paul, James, and Gerald Pate. Four sisters Florence Babich, Freida Phillips, Geraldine Page and Audrey Ball. An active member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star for many years. A volunteer of White Cross Guild at Methodist Hospital and a volunteer at Wayne Branch Library.
