Obituary of Stephen Wayne Scruggs

Stephen Wayne Scruggs, 63, of Lebanon, IN passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Stephen was born on March 10, 1952 in Indianapolis to James and Marie Scruggs. He was preceded in death by his father, James; brother, Michael Lee Scruggs and sister, Shirley Marie Scruggs. Stephen was a member of the Lebanon Nazarene Church. He retired in 2014 from Kirby Risk Electrical Supply. Stephen’s favorite pastime included playing golf with his brother Craig and friends. He is survived by his loving mother, Marie Scruggs; sons, Joshua Scruggs, Adrian Scruggs and Nicholas (Sommer) Valenti; daughter, Angela (Seth) Jones; brothers, James (Carolyn) Scruggs and Craig (Beverly) Scruggs; five grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 from 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St. Indpls. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., also in the mortuary.
