Mildred Fern Starks Rosner, 83, greeted Our Heavenly Father the morning of December 24, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Joe; and children, Sharon Lakey, Jerry (Diana), Joe (Terry), Theresa (Dennis) Smith and John (Andi) Rosner; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Geneva. Fern, as she was known, was born January 1, 1925 in Beech Grove, IN. She was a member of St. Joseph parish since 1955. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1375 S Mickley Ave, Indpls on December 28 from 4-7:30 pm, with a rosary at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 29 at 10:00 am there, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Joseph's remodeling fund. Fern was loved by many and will be missed very much.
