Joseph Simons, 60, of Indianapolis passed away on April 14, 2020. He was born in Greenfield, IN on November 1, 1959 to Larry Gene Simons and Carmen Purdy Mock. His father precedes him in death. Joe was a compassionate man who loved his family and friends with all his heart. He lit up all the lives he touched. Joe loved working in his yard, woodworking, photography and writing poetry. Joe developed a passion for working with the homeless veterans at his job at HVAF of Indiana where he had retired from. Joe was quick with a handshake and a "Thank You for Your Service" to any and every veteran he met. The family will be honoring Joe in a Celebration of Life later this year.
