Obituary of Diana M. Jones

Diana M. Jones, 60, of Indianapolis passed away on March 1, 2024. Diana was born on September 7, 1963, in Marysville, OH. She was adopted at birth by Robert and Eileen (Tolbert) Daniels.

Diana was a special educator, a teacher's aid, and worked with children after school at the YMCA. She has always had special place in her heart for children and loved being a part in helping them learn and grow. Diana grew up in the racing industry, loved attending the US nationals and supporting NHRA. She had worked at IRP Indianapolis raceway park along side her parents, and was intertwined with racing throughout her life. Diana loved traveling to Florida, where her parents resided, she enjoyed spending time at the beach and Disney. Her favorite season was fall, enjoying garage sales and spending time with her grandchildren at Beasleys orchard.

Diana was a kind-hearted and caring person that would help anyone she could. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Robert Daniels; her brother David Daniels; she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Richard K. Jones; daughter Rebecca Jones; son Jeffrey Jones; grandchildren Rilynn, Gatlin, Karson Jones and Khaleesi Bobb.
