Obituary of Helen Tracy Elliott

Helen Tracy Elliott died on December 24, 2023. Helen was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on September 5, 1927. She was the sixth child born to Charles Scott Tracy and Mary Bernadine Jackson Tracy.

She attended St. Benedict's Catholic School where she was double promoted. In 1941, her Dad was transferred to Danville, Illinois where she attended Danville High School graduating in 1944, Upon graduation she began working as an accounting clerk. Helen loved numbers and worked with them through her working life. 

In April of 1950, she married Harry R. (Bub) Elliott at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Danville. They had 5 children: Susan Jensen, Carol Robison, Thomas (Suzy), Michael, and Robert (Pam) Elliott, 9 Grandchildren: Scott (Cretia) and Steve (Emily) Jensen; Kurt (Amy) and Kevin (Sarah) Robison, Stephanie (Rob) Graham; Charlie (Caitlan), Clark, Elizabeth and Brooke Elliott. They were gifted with 14 Great Grandchildren: Austin, Brynleigh (Silas), Bayleigh, Madelyn, Seth, Ryan, Zoe Jensen; Kyle (Rhinann), Evelyn, Vivian, Anna, Jackson Robison, Addie and Eli Graham. Their first Great Great Grandson, Slayter, was born on December 6, 2023. 

Helen was predeceased by her husband Harry, her parents, siblings, 2 son-in-laws, a grandson and a great granddaughter.
She leaves her family and many friends to rejoice at her long life. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. Christopher Catholic Church with visitation from 9:00 until time of Mass. Interment to follow in Westridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Food Pantry at St. Christopher Church, the Little Sisters of the Poor or St. Vincent De Paul.
