Joseph Patrick Wolf, 56, passed away peacefully in his home in Indianapolis on May 3rd, 2020. He is the son of Mary Ann Chermansky Wolf and the late Donald R Wolf, brother of Christopher (Dianne), Stephen, and the late Donna Wolf Moore. He attended St. Christopher School and Ben Davis High School. In his early years he loved to play soccer culminating in the opportunity to play in the 1976 Scarborough Peace Games in Canada. Joe had a deep love for music. His love and caring for animals brought him to Wolf Park in Battleground, Indiana for five years where he cared for the packs of wolves, various other animals and contributed to the significance of this sanctuary. After training to be a lab animal technician Joe spent his last 15 years continuing his reverence for the animal world working at the L. A. R. C. Department at IUPUI Medical Center. In his spare time he created a vast amount of inspired writings including his screenplay Divided by 13, a true story about the time he spent at Wolf Park, as well as his original film called My Movie about the Bow Valley Pack of wolves of which he followed throughout parts of Canada. Joe's celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please send donations to Wolf Park at wolfpark.org in honor of Joe Wolf.
