It's so hard to say good-bye to a loving mom like yours! Take comfort in knowing that she always loved you from the bottom of her heart! You and your daddy were her "world", her everything and she was so proud of all of you, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She always treated me with love too! I'm thankful for all the lunches she prepared for me when she lived near my school, especially my favorite, her spaghetti. She frquently took time to chat on the phone and welcomed me with hugs when I showed up at her door, but I am most grateful for her love and support during a very difficult and lonely time in my life. She was there for me like a guardian angel!
My Aunt Janie and Uncle Junior raised a lovely family and I want you to know that I love you all and will continue to pray for peace and healing for all of you!
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see her again because we know that God can not lie. Usually at some point in time after the funeral when family members and friends are gone we may find ourselves all alone to deal with our grief. But please be assured that you are not alone. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) May all the many wonderful memories that Beatrice your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
I'm so sorry guys. To my second mom- I know you are dancing in heaven with John now. Tell my dad I said hi. Thanks for helping "raise" all of us BD girls. Love you, Beth
