Condolences
I worked with Al for about 8 years. He was a woot. I remember when he hit the lottery, his ticket laid on his tool box for 2 weeks. Then he checked the numbers and realized he hit the lottery. It didn't change him tho. He was very tight with his money. He loved playing Santa Claus in front of his house. I took my kids over to his house and there he was playing Santa across from Ben Davis where he lived. He was a good guy to talk to. God Bless Al.. Prayers coming your way for peace and comfort in your soul.. Roy
My condolences to the Swinford family. I had Mrs. Swinford as a teacher at Rhoades Elementary School, she was a great teacher & person & no doubt the Mr. Swinford was as well. Sorry for your loss may God be with you & your family in days to come.
So sorry for your loss Peace and pain free at last.
Allen if God would have allowed you to look from Heaven today you would have been so very proud, Brian's Euology was AWESOME, the 21 gun salute, Nancy & the kids gave you the BEST send off anyone could ask for. You were truly a very loved man. RIP Our friend God has you now!!
Allen spent many hours at our house when he was a Boy Scout in Rosedale, and dad was Boy Scout Master. Never forget the day that he and a couple of others had to clean Mom's kitchen because they got into a water fight.... Spraying the garden hose thru the open kitchen window. My husband & I are friends with the Champions (Larry & Vicki) and learned of Allen's illness and passing thru them. May God grant you peace, love, and comfort during this difficult time.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time of sorrow. God bless, Kevin and Patty Arthur
We will miss Al. He could always make us laugh with a funnly comment or joke. He was or realtor when we bought or first home 19 years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. -Randy, Rhonda, Sarah and Nathan
Allen and I were friends in high school, thru his years in Service, and when he married Nancy, he was still someone I felt I could go to for advice. He started from very humble beginnings but became very successful and wise during his maturity. He was a quiet gentle soul and loved his family well. He was a true family man, a friend l'll remember always. May he rest in peace, his work on earth is done.
Nancy, Sending sincere condolences to you and your family. May joy soon replace the sadness you feel. We pray that God will uphold you with His everlasting arms and give you strength and courage in the days ahead. Your friends, Gary & Joyce Spears
Nancy it is with our deepest sympathy to hear that Allen has past. The good news is that he is now with God which means you will see him again some day. Love Jim and Brenda Abbott

What can you say about Allen that anyone who has met him doesnt already know. He was a man who Honored & Loved his Country. A man who loved his family, a man who had that rough tough guy act when you first met him but after awhile you seen the most gentlest heart of anyone we have had the pleasure of knowing. Allen could tell a joke that would have you laughing for day's afterwards, he & Nancy have became a huge part of our lives & he will forever continue to be a part of us, one that will be truly missed. Our Thoughts & Prayers are with the Family. God Bless you's Much Love Your Pesty Neighbor's ;)!!
There was absolutely no one like Al Swinford! We will miss him desperately. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Chris, Mike, Maddie, and Sarah
