Obituary of Marian Camille Pieczko
Marian Camille Pieczko, born on August 2, 1938, graced us with love, compassion, beauty and humor for 87 years. Marian passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, surrounded in her family’s love.
She is survived by her greatest joys - her children: Mike (Lori Tindall) Pieczko, Joe (Stacie) Pieczko, Mary Stumpf, and Amy (Brian) Freeman; her five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In death, she is reunited with her beloved husband, George Pieczko, her parents, and her three sisters.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, compassion, beauty and humor. She spent her career as a nurse, caring for patients and their families in their greatest times of need. She celebrated life’s joys and beauty through gardening, art, painting, sewing, and ceramics. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church, where she served in many ministries. She deeply loved her family, who will forever cherish the time they had with her.
Visitation will be held in the narthex of St. Christopher Catholic Church from 10am-12pm on Friday, April 24, 2026. The Funeral Mass will follow at 12pm inside the church, with a procession to the Committal Service at the cemetery after Mass.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to https://www.tourdekomen.org/donate
