Obituary of Constance Ann Halman

It is with profound sadness that the family of Constance "Connie" Ann Halman, born October 3rd, 1937 in Bedford, IN, has passed away at the age of 88 on March 13th, 2026. Residing in Indianapolis, Indiana, Connie was a beacon of love, resilience, compassion, and support to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Married on June 22nd, 1957, Connie and her husband, George Halman, embarked on a journey of love and companionship that was a testament to their enduring bond. Connie's most cherished role was that of a caregiver; taking care of her family was her highest calling and she played this role with grace and selfless devotion. 

As Maya Angelou once said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the life of Connie. She was the loving mother of Doug (Karena) Halman and Cathy Noble, a doting grandmother to Lyndsay Ferdinandt and Danyelle Noble,. Great grandmother to Landon. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in their hearts, and in the hearts of all who knew her. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lela Reath, her brother, Bob Reath, and her in-laws, George Jr. and Phoebe Halman.

The loss of Connie is deeply felt by all who knew her, and yet, we know that her spirit lives on in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created. Her life was a testament to the power of resilience, the beauty of compassion, and the strength of love.
